DATA SCIENTIST

HESPLORA is looking for candidates to join its team of professionals to build innovative projects for clients belonging to different industries (finance, insurance, oil & gas, multi-utility, …).

In particular, our search is aimed at people able to design and develop Data Analytics, Machine Learning and Deep Learning applications and solutions.

Qualification required: Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Engineering and other scientific degrees. Any PhDs earned in the same fields will be positively valued. Minimum skills required:

• Experience in all typical phases of a data science project (business understanding, hypotheses, data transformation, metrics analysis, predictive modeling);
• Experience in Machine Learning and Deep Learning;
• Hands-on experience on implementation and use of major supervised and unsupervised learning models: regression, classification, forecasting, clustering, dimensionality reduction, recommendation, natural language processing, business intelligence;
• Main data manipulation techniques: cleansing, integration, normalization, anomaly detection, null imputation, features engineering;
• Good knowledge of the following major working tools: Python (Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, TensorFlow, Keras, etc.) and R;
• Statistical analysis;
• Signal processing;
• Good problem solving skills;
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English.

Besides, documented knowledge and/or experience related to the following topics will be considered a nice to have:

• Knowledge of the Spark ecosystem
• Knowledge of SQL language
• Data Analytics, Big Data and Cloud Computing environments
• IoT
• Computer vision

The applied contract is the CCNL for employees of companies in the trade, services and tertiary sectors; however, the level of employment and salary will be commensurate with the experience of the individual candidate.

In addition, candidates are required to be willing to travel for work, both in Italy and abroad.
